About Me

- I am a wife and a mother of 2 children and a cute little golden retriever. My children are 14 and 12 and don't need me so much anymore! It's bittersweet. We raise them to be independent, successful little citizens...but then they are not our little babies anymore. I guess the good news is this has freed up some time to focus on things I might like to do. I am going back to work full-time in 2 days. I have been a SAHM for the most part of the last 14 years. I have also been going to school for the last 4 years so that I can start a career in Medical Billing & Coding. My new job is not in this industry. I am finishing my last 2 classes and then I will graduate and be eligible for certification. Hopefully, down the line a bit, I will be able to get into the medical field. I had tried to get a job in the medical field, but without experience and in this economy, it has not happened fast enough for me. At least I have a job now and will be back in the work force...yeay!
